SEPC Limited has received a Letter of Award for a ₹650 crore EPC contract from Parmeshi Urja Ltd (a subsidiary of India Power Corporation Limited) to build a 133 MW solar power project across four districts in Maharashtra (Sambhaji Nagar, Dhule, Solapur, and Nanded). The project will be executed under the Government of India's PM-KUSUM Yojana over 12–18 months and marks SEPC's entry into the solar EPC segment. The order is larger than SEPC's entire FY25 standalone revenue of ₹597.65 crore and nearly doubles its domestic order book. Management called this a strategic milestone that reinforces the company's readiness to participate in India's clean energy transition.
This is a materially large order (over 100% of FY25 revenue) that significantly strengthens SEPC's order book and opens a new growth vertical in solar EPC. It is likely to be viewed positively by the market, though execution risk over the 12–18 month timeline and dependence on a single client for this order are factors to watch.
