Shakti Pumps invested Rs 5 crores in its wholly owned subsidiary Shakti EV Mobility Private Limited by subscribing to 50 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 face value. Total investment in the subsidiary now stands at Rs 80 crores. The subsidiary makes EV motors and chargers for two, three and four wheelers and special purpose vehicles. Its turnover jumped sharply from Rs 3.73 cr in FY25 to Rs 24.25 cr in FY26, showing strong growth.
Continued capital infusion signals management commitment to scaling the EV business. Subsidiary revenue is growing rapidly, which could add value over time for shareholders.
