Shakti Pumps invested Rs 75 crores in its wholly owned subsidiary Shakti Energy Solutions Limited to set up a 2.20 GW greenfield Solar DCR cell and Solar PV modules manufacturing plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. Subsidiary turnover grew from Rs 99.15 Cr in FY23 to Rs 139.59 Cr in FY24 and Rs 216.53 Cr in FY25, more than doubling in two years.
Significant capacity build-out in solar manufacturing could drive future growth, but raises execution risk and capital commitment for shareholders.
