On the reaction day the stock moved 0.7 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.4 pts more than its Other Agricultural Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Shanti Overseas India has completed the divestment of its entire 100 percent equity stake of 45,60,000 shares in material subsidiary Shaan Agro Oils and Extractions Private Limited. Sale consideration of Rs. 45,600 received on September 30, 2026. With effect from the same date, Shaan Agro Oils has ceased to be a material subsidiary of the company. Board and shareholders had approved the disinvestment earlier in September 2026.
Full exit from a material subsidiary at nominal consideration of about Rs 1 per share. Simplifies group structure but raises questions on value realisation.
