Shashijit Infraprojects Ltd reported a net loss of Rs. 3.11 crore for FY25, swinging from a profit of Rs. 1.46 crore in FY24. Revenue from operations fell to Rs. 22.87 crore from Rs. 27.35 crore, a decline of about 16%. For Q4 FY25, the company posted a loss of Rs. 2.98 crore against a small loss of Rs. 33 lakh in Q4 FY24, while quarterly revenue dropped to Rs. 5.48 crore from Rs. 6.70 crore. The auditor (Kakaria and Associates LLP) gave an unmodified opinion. The company also raised Rs. 6.85 crore via a preferential issue of 2.09 crore equity shares at Rs. 3.27 each. The Government Infrastructure division, terminated by Vapi Nagar Palika in FY24, continues to be shown as a discontinued operation.
Weak results — sharp swing into loss, declining revenue, and negative operating cash flow (Rs. 1.76 crore outflow) signal continued stress on the core construction business. However, the preferential equity raise improves liquidity and reduces borrowings, which may provide some near-term support for shareholders.
