Shilpa Medicare announced positive Phase 3 results for OERIS, a once-weekly ondansetron injection for chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV). In a 240-patient trial across Indian oncology centers, OERIS showed 89 percent complete response versus 82 percent for standard ondansetron, with no serious adverse events. OERIS addresses both acute and delayed CINV for up to five days in a single dose. Company plans filing with DCGI and US registration via 505(b)(2) pathway.
Strong Phase 3 outcome moves OERIS closer to regulatory filing, opening a USD 375 million global CINV market opportunity.
