Shiva Texyarn's board approved audited FY25 results showing a turnaround — standalone profit after tax of Rs 1,178.34 lakhs versus a loss of Rs 1,108.40 lakhs in FY24, though revenue dipped to Rs 32,270.74 lakhs from Rs 33,527.66 lakhs. Consolidated PAT also swung to Rs 1,206.27 lakhs from a loss of Rs 1,076.66 lakhs, and basic EPS recovered to Rs 9.09. The board recommended a 45% dividend (Rs 4.50 per share on Rs 10 face value) subject to shareholder approval. Sri S K Sundararaman was reappointed as Managing Director for 3 years from August 31, 2025 to August 30, 2028. The board also approved acquiring an 11.50% stake in Finecot Spinning Mills (a solar power firm) for Rs 3.45 lakhs to source captive solar power, and appointed new cost and secretarial auditors.
Positive for shareholders: the company returned to profitability, declared a healthy 45% dividend, and the MD's continuity provides leadership stability. The small solar power acquisition signals a modest green energy cost-saving move but is financially immaterial.
