Shree Cement announced two senior management changes effective mid-2026. Mr. Sanjay Mehta, President - Procurement & Corporate Affairs (Senior Management), will retire on 31st August 2026 due to superannuation. He will be succeeded by Mr. Gaurav Jain as Head – Corporate Affairs from 20th June 2026. The appointment requires shareholder approval because Mr. Jain is a relative of the Chairman and Vice Chairman (Promoter family). Mr. Jain brings over two decades of experience from Jaypee Group, ICICI Group, and Accenture, and holds an MBA from ISB Hyderabad.
This represents routine succession planning at senior management level. The appointment of a promoter family member to a key role may attract shareholder scrutiny and is appropriately subject to shareholder approval under listing regulations.
