India Resurgence Fund has completed the acquisition of 45.01 percent stake (about 6.67 crore shares) in Shree Digvijay Cement from True North Fund VI LLP. Following this ownership change, Mr Pramod Kabra, the outgoing True North nominee director, resigned. Mr Shitij Kale, an M&A and capital markets professional with prior stints at Adani Group and Citigroup India, has been appointed as the new nominee director of the incoming purchasers. All changes are effective December 18, 2025.
Board now represents new PE owner India Resurgence Fund, signaling change of controlling shareholder and likely strategic shifts ahead.
