On the reaction day the stock moved 2.5 pts more than Nifty 100 and 1.9 pts more than its Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

The Board declared an interim dividend of Rs 4.80 per share (240%) for FY2025-26, with November 7 as the record date and payment before November 30, 2025. Standalone Q2 profit rose to Rs 2,307.18 crore from Rs 2,071.26 crore a year earlier; H1 profit was Rs 4,462.91 crore. It also approved a debt fundraising plan and will seek shareholder approval for up to Rs 35,000 crore.
Higher profit and the dividend may support the stock, but the large debt raise could raise interest costs and funding risk.
