On the reaction day the stock moved 0.8 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 1.2 pts more than its Iron & Steel Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The company law tribunal in Kolkata approved merging Shree Venkateshwara Electrocast Pvt Ltd into wholly owned Shyam Sel and Power Ltd, with effect from 1 April 2024. It becomes effective when the certified order is filed with the Registrar of Companies. SVEPL will dissolve, and all assets and liabilities will move to Shyam Sel and Power. Its shares will be cancelled, with no new shares or payment, so no dilution is planned.
No dilution is planned because no new shares are issued. The merger streamlines the aluminium foil business, but benefits depend on integration.
