Siemens Limited has announced a leadership change in its Digital Industries business. Mr. Suprakash Chaudhuri will step down as Head of Digital Industries on September 30, 2025, to take up a new role within Siemens overseas. Mr. Swapnil Deosthali, currently the Country Business Unit Head within the same Digital Industries business, will take over effective October 1, 2025. Deosthali has nearly 30 years of experience across Sales, Business Development, and P&L management, and has held leadership roles in India, ASEAN, and Europe. The overall Managing Director of Siemens Limited, Sunil Mathur, remains unchanged.
This is an internal succession move with no change at the top management level — the outgoing head is transferring within the Siemens group and the successor is a long-tenured internal leader, so continuity in the Digital Industries business is expected. Shareholders are unlikely to see any material disruption from this change.
