Sigma Advanced Systems, via its consortium with Indrajaal Autonomous Defense Systems, secured about Rs 155 crore in orders from India's Ministry of Home Affairs for Indrajaal Ranger anti-drone patrol vehicles. This includes Rs 145 crore for border security deployments and Rs 10 crore for urban police use including VVIP protection. The ARDTC-approved Ranger is India's first purpose-built anti-drone patrol vehicle, marking India as the first country to establish anti-drone patrolling of border and urban areas at government scale.
Major defence order win from Home Ministry boosts order book and positions company in the fast-growing homeland counter-drone security segment.
