Sigma secured a USD 102.23 million, about INR 973 crore, order from a NATO customer to manufacture and supply Base Bleed Units for 155 mm artillery ammunition. Deliveries are planned over 12 months. The order adds a new component to Sigma's existing shells and fuzes, supporting its plan to manufacture more complete artillery rounds in-house and reduce reliance on outside suppliers.
The order should improve revenue visibility and investor sentiment, but its stock impact depends on costs, margins and timely delivery, which were not disclosed.
