Signpost India has won the exclusive advertising rights for all 67 key metro stations operated by Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) for a period of 9 years, running until 2034. The contract covers over 95,000 square feet of display space (both static and digital) across high-footfall stations that see around 3 crore (30 million) riders per month. The deal is expected to generate Rs. 600–700 crores in revenue over its tenure, excluding GST. BMRCL is a joint venture between the Government of Karnataka and the Government of India, and runs the 'Namma Metro' network in Bengaluru. The company says this win strengthens its long-term recurring revenue base and expands its Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising footprint across major urban transit hubs.
Positive for shareholders — this is a long-tenure, high-value contract that adds meaningful recurring revenue visibility and strengthens Signpost India's position in the transit advertising space, likely to be viewed as a growth catalyst by the market.
