Sika Interplant Systems has signed a license agreement with Collins Aerospace (through its Goodrich Actuation Systems units in France and the UK) to undertake maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of specific primary flight control components. Collins is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of these components, which are standard installations on all Airbus A320/A321 series aircraft. Under the agreement, Sika is authorised to service components from aircraft registered in India and certain neighbouring countries. The collaboration aligns with Sika's stated strategy of expanding its MRO capabilities to better serve aviation and aerospace customers in India and the surrounding region.
Ties Sika to one of the world's largest commercial aircraft platforms (A320/A321 family) through a globally recognised aerospace OEM, opening a new recurring revenue stream and strengthening its positioning in the high-value aviation MRO segment.
