Silgo Retail's board on June 17, 2026 approved acquiring 49% stakes each in Terraverde Renewables and Bluesky Renewables, both newly incorporated solar energy companies. Silgo will buy 4.9 lakh equity shares in each at Rs. 10 per share (about Rs. 49 lakh per company), all in cash, to be completed within 30 days. Both targets are incorporated in Feb 2025 with no revenue and small losses. Silgo also holds a call option to acquire the remaining 51% after a one-year lock-in from the project start date.
Strategic diversification into solar and renewable energy. Targets are early-stage with no revenue, so near-term earnings impact is limited, but signals long-term growth ambition.
