Walter Pack, SJS Enterprises' wholly-owned subsidiary, is setting up a new manufacturing facility at Pune on a build-to-suit basis, with a sub-lease executed on October 11, 2026. The new facility will have around 1,27,359 sq ft, nearly double the existing 64,273 sq ft across three plants at MIDC Ranjangaon (currently at 75% utilization). All three plants will relocate to the new facility by May 2027. Total investment is about Rs. 49 crore, funded via internal accruals or debt.
Positive for long-term growth as capacity nearly doubles and operational efficiency improves, though Rs. 49 Cr capex may pressure near-term margins.
