Smartworks Coworking Spaces has signed a lease deed for an additional 1,49,560 sq. ft. of coworking space in Jaipur, which will boost its operational capacity. As of December 31, 2025, the company had 11.1 million sq. ft. of leased capacity and 9.2 million sq. ft. of operational capacity, running at about 84% utilization. The new space is expected to be added by April 2026 at an investment of roughly ₹25 crore, funded through internal accruals or issue proceeds. The expansion is aimed at supporting business growth and widening the company's footprint.
This is a modest, organic capacity expansion in line with growth plans, with limited financial strain since it is lease-based and funded internally. For shareholders, it signals continued demand confidence and steady scaling, though the size of the addition is small relative to the existing 11.1 million sq. ft. portfolio.
