Somi Conveyor Beltings has secured two domestic orders worth Rs. 48.65 crore in March 2025. The larger order of Rs. 47.81 crore is from NLC India Limited (a Government of India Navratna enterprise) for 24,300 metres of Steel Cord Conveyor Belts, to be delivered over 7-8 months. The second order of Rs. 84.03 lakh is from Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd. (MAHAGENCO) for 3,750 metres of nylon conveyor belts, to be delivered in 3-6 months. Both buyers are domestic public sector entities in the power generation sector, and the orders are not related party transactions.
This is a sizable order win for Somi Conveyor Beltings from two government-backed power companies, providing meaningful revenue visibility over the next 6-8 months. The NLC India order alone is significant and could positively impact the stock sentiment, as it strengthens the order book with a reputed PSU client.
