At its 17th AGM on 29 September 2025, SRM Contractors approved several management changes effective 1 October 2025. Promoter Sanjay Mehta moved from Managing Director to Non-Executive Director to focus on international expansion (Abu Dhabi, GCC and African markets). Promoter Puneet Pal Singh was elevated from Whole-Time Director to Managing Director for a 5-year term. The company also appointed Mr. Ankur Verma (existing General Manager since 2013) as Executive Director and Mr. Inder Jeet Kumar (an Advocate with 24 years of experience) as Independent Director for a 5-year term. Additionally, M/s Rohit KC Jain & Co. was appointed as the new statutory auditor for 5 years (FY2025-26 to FY2029-30), and the Articles of Association were amended to allow the Chairperson and Managing Director roles to be held by different individuals.
This is an internal succession and governance restructuring rather than a disruptive change. The promoter-led MD transition preserves continuity while allowing the founder to focus on overseas growth, which is broadly neutral to mildly positive for shareholders. The addition of a new Independent Director strengthens board oversight.
