On the reaction day the stock moved 1.2 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.2 pts less than its General Insurance peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Star Health's Board has approved withdrawal of an earlier application to reclassify three promoter group entities — Industrial Glass Fiber Industries, Interics, and IDC Electronics Limited — from promoter to non-promoter category. The reclassification had been filed with BSE and NSE under SEBI Listing Regulations. With the withdrawal, these three entities will continue to be classified as part of the promoter group of the company. The decision was taken through a circular resolution passed on September 15 and approved on September 16, 2026.
The three entities remain classified as promoters, so promoter shareholding structure and related disclosures stay unchanged.
