On the reaction day the stock moved 5.2 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 6.2 pts less than its General Insurance peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The board approved unaudited quarter and half-year results ended September 30, 2026. Half-year profit after tax rose 102% to Rs 911 crore from Rs 451 crore, while September-quarter profit fell 33% to Rs 550 crore from Rs 815 crore. The claims ratio improved to 68.95% from 71.51%. June-quarter figures were restated for interest accretion, with no effect on net results. Auditors found no material misstatement in their limited review.
Stronger half-year profit and a better claims ratio may support the stock, but the sharp quarterly profit fall could limit near-term gains.
