Star Housing Finance is engaging with a potential investor seeking a majority stake by buying shares from promoters and the single largest shareholder, enabling their full exit. The investor plans fresh fund infusion through primary issuance to strengthen the balance sheet, subject to approvals. Two Independent Directors have already been appointed on Board recommendation, with further changes including Executive Director inductions planned. The objective is ownership transition and revival of the Company.
