State Bank of India has sold 2.88 crore shares (1.42% of pre-Offer capital) of subsidiary SBI Funds Management to 30 investors at Rs 574 per share, raising Rs 1,655 crores via a Pre-IPO placement. Investors include PI Opportunities Fund, Malabar India Fund, 360 ONE, Tata AIG, Bennett Coleman and others. Transaction expected to complete by July 10, 2026. SBIFM's FY26 total income was Rs 4,969 crores. None of the buyers are SBI promoter group entities. This follows SBIFM's RHP filing on July 8 for its upcoming IPO.
