Bluegod Entertainment Ltd has signed a strategic tie-up with Cinepolis India Pvt. Ltd. for the distribution of its upcoming Hindi feature film 'Jeevan Bheema Yojana'. The agreement covers a Pan-India theatrical release with a license period of six months from the date of release. Under the deal, Bluegod will pay Cinepolis a minimum fixed commission of Rs. 15 lakh or 10% of the distributor's share, whichever is higher. Cinepolis operates 449 screens across brands like Cinépolis, Cinépolis VIP, Cinépolis Junior, and FUN Cinemas, making it one of the country's largest multiplex chains. The arrangement also includes joint marketing and promotional initiatives to boost the film's visibility and box-office performance.
This tie-up gives Bluegod access to one of India's largest multiplex networks, potentially improving the film's theatrical reach and revenue. For shareholders, it signals the company's active push into film production and distribution, though the financial size of the deal appears modest given the minimum guaranteed commission.
