Sterling and Wilson reported record-breaking performance in FY26 with new orders exceeding INR10,000 crores and unexecuted order value at INR11,813 crores (up from INR9,096 crores). The company achieved its highest annual turnover of INR7,548 crores (20% YoY growth) and record quarterly PAT of INR142 crores in Q4. Gross margins improved to 10.5% vs 10.1% in FY25, driven by international EPC margins reflating to 13.2%. The company bagged 12 new orders including Coal India's 1.2 GW DC turnkey project and 2 South Africa projects worth US$270 million. O&M portfolio grew to 13.5 GW from 8.7 GW. FY26 PAT was impacted by INR611 crores exceptional items from litigation. The company guided for 15% revenue growth in FY27 based on current order book excluding Reliance.
Strong order book visibility of INR11,813 crores and improving margins position the company well for growth. Management guidance of 15% revenue growth for FY27 provides near-term earnings visibility, though outstanding US litigation cases remain a risk factor.
