SIIL has created a Fixed Deposit of Rs 120 crores with SBI (Lead Bank) to meet balance settlement dues to remaining lenders under its Scheme of Compromise and Arrangement. The deposit fully satisfies the company's funding obligations under the sanctioned scheme. The Company Court, at its 20 July 2026 hearing, recorded the deposit and granted time until 17 August 2026 for banks and stakeholders to complete remaining procedural formalities. Management expects successful completion of the scheme within this timeline.
