Supreme Petrochem has commissioned the first line of its new ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) project at its Amdoshi Plant in Nagothane, Maharashtra. The new line has an installed capacity of 70,000 tonnes per annum (TPA). The plant has been set up with technical support from M/s. Versatis, Italy, and commercial production began on September 25, 2025. This marks the company's entry into ABS, a value-added engineering plastic used in automotive, electronics, and consumer durables.
This is a significant capacity addition that diversifies the company's product mix beyond its existing polystyrene (PS) and EPS portfolio into higher-value ABS. Investors should watch for revenue ramp-up and margin contribution from this new line in upcoming quarters.
