Surana Telecom and Power Limited's Board has approved the sale of its 49% equity stake in Bhagyanagar Solar Private Limited (BSPL), a wholly owned subsidiary. The transaction is valued at Rs. 1.14 crore (Rs. 1,14,17,000) and is expected to close tentatively by 20 June 2026. After the sale, BSPL will remain a subsidiary of Surana Telecom but will no longer be a wholly owned subsidiary. The buyer is Lakhanlal Anand Kumar of Trade Private Limited, who is not part of the promoter or promoter group. The transaction is not a related party deal and was confirmed to be at arm's length. Importantly, BSPL has not yet commenced operations and has contributed zero to the listed entity's turnover, revenue, or net worth.
This is a minor asset disposal with negligible impact on financials since the subsidiary is pre-operational. The reduction to non-wholly-owned subsidiary status slightly changes the group structure but has no immediate material impact on the listed entity's revenue or valuation.
