On the reaction day the stock moved 5.1 pts more than its Other Bank peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

The board approved Suryoday Small Finance Bank's unaudited Q2 and H1 FY27 results. Q2 total income rose 38% to Rs 829.38 crore from Rs 599.50 crore, while net profit rose 152% to Rs 76.55 crore from Rs 30.41 crore. H1 net profit was Rs 151.73 crore. Gross and net NPA ratios improved to 2.97% and 7.54%. The auditors gave an unmodified review, but H1 operating cash flow was negative. Investor director Ranjit Shah retires on November 2.
Strong profit and lower bad loans may support sentiment, though negative operating cash flow and a lower capital ratio are concerns.
