Suven Life Sciences announced successful completion of the Phase-1 first-in-human study of SUVN-I6107, a novel muscarinic M1 positive allosteric modulator (M1-PAM) for cognitive disorders. The study in 64 healthy volunteers showed favorable safety, no serious adverse events, predictable pharmacokinetics, and biomarker evidence of CNS activity. The drug achieved projected therapeutic exposures with no gender-based dosing differences. This is the company's 5th internally discovered candidate to enter clinical development. SUVN-I6107 will now advance to Phase-2 evaluation. Suven owns full global IP rights.
Positive pipeline milestone. Successful Phase-1 data de-risks the candidate and supports Phase-2 progression, strengthening long-term growth prospects.
