Suzlon secured its first-ever 248.85 MW wind energy order from ArcelorMittal for captive use at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel facilities. The order covers 79 S144 wind turbines rated at 3.15 MW each, to be installed in Bachau, Gujarat, as part of a 550 MW hybrid project. This is Suzlon's fourth major order for green steel decarbonization, taking its total green steel contribution to about 1,156 MW. Management highlighted EPC as a strategic focus area, targeting 50% of overall order book from this segment going forward.
Positive: First order from a global steel major validates Suzlon's position in industrial decarbonization and supports order inflow visibility.
