Swan Defence and Heavy Industries has received a Category 4 order from Energy ONE Limited, an international entity, for constructing four 92,500 DWT dual-fuel ammonia bulk carriers. These will be the first ammonia dual-fuel ships built in India and are among the largest commercial vessels ever built at an Indian shipyard, marking a significant technology and scale milestone for the domestic shipbuilding industry. The first vessel is expected to be delivered by October 2029, with subsequent deliveries on schedule. The order is confirmed not to be a related party transaction.
