On the reaction day the stock moved 2.2 pts more than Nifty 100 and 2.0 pts more than its Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Standalone Q2 operating revenue rose 20.2% year on year to Rs 6,710.47 crore, while net profit jumped 73.1% to Rs 1,143.26 crore. Gross bad loans fell to 2.40% from 2.89%. For the half year, operating cash outflow widened to Rs 20,172.80 crore, mainly due to loan growth, and debt was 4.52 times equity. No audit qualification was reported. The board expanded the foreign currency bond programme from USD 2 billion to USD 3 billion.
Profit growth and better loan quality are positive, but heavy cash use and high debt raise funding risk; bond expansion may add interest costs.
