Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles reported strong Q2 FY27 (Jul-Sept 2026) numbers. Domestic sales of Nexon and Punch (UVC) rose 37% YoY to about 1.19 lakh units. Curvv and Sierra (UV1) jumped to 25,365 units from 5,274 last year, driven by new launches. Compact segment (Tiago, Altroz, Tigor) grew around 8% to 36,574 units. Production also rose across segments. Exports remained small in volume.
Strong YoY growth in core models and sharp ramp-up in new launches point to healthy demand and positive momentum for the passenger vehicle business.
