Tata Power signed a memorandum of understanding with BPCL to design and develop 110 kV power infrastructure for BPCL's 90 MW Petro Resid Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit at Mumbai Refinery. Completion is planned within about 24 months, with an estimated combined outlay of about ₹250 crore for Tata Power and BPCL, subject to approvals and milestones. Tata Power also plans a 400 kV transmission facility in Trombay over the next five years.
Could add transmission work and strengthen Tata Power's Mumbai network, supporting growth. It remains subject to approvals and milestones.
