Mr. Sharad Kumar Khaitan has resigned as Chief Financial Officer of Tega Industries Limited to pursue other career opportunities outside the Tega Group. His resignation takes effect from the close of business hours on May 5, 2026. Simultaneously, the Board has appointed Mr. Shyama Prasad Ganguly as Interim CFO effective May 6, 2026. Ganguly, who currently serves as General Manager - Finance & Accounts, has been with Tega since 2009 and brings over 24 years of finance experience. He is a Chartered Accountant with qualifications from University of Calcutta, Annamalai University, and has completed a management programme at IIM Ahmedabad.
The CFO transition appears orderly with an internal appointment minimizing disruption. The departure reason of pursuing opportunities outside the Tega Group suggests no red flags around governance or disagreements, but sudden senior finance departures can create short-term uncertainty for investors.
