Tejas Networks received Rs. 122.96 Crore from the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Telecom and Networking Products on June 4, 2025. This is the first tranche and represents 85% of the eligible incentive for Q3 of FY 2024-2025, with the remaining 15% expected to be released later. The incentive is part of the government's PLI scheme aimed at boosting domestic manufacturing of telecom and networking equipment.
This is a positive cash inflow that strengthens the company's working capital and validates its domestic telecom manufacturing capabilities. Investors should note that the remaining 15% balance is still pending and any further PLI tranches could be incremental positives.
