Tenneco Clean Air India reported its first set of quarterly results since listing on BSE and NSE on November 19, 2025. Consolidated revenue from operations grew 14.2% year-on-year to ₹12,852.64 million in Q3 FY26, while nine-month revenue rose 8% to ₹38,515.27 million. Consolidated profit before tax (after exceptional items) stood at ₹1,645.92 million in Q3 versus ₹1,652.17 million a year ago, and Q3 net profit dipped 5.3% to ₹1,188.08 million, weighed down by a one-time exceptional charge of ₹271.68 million related to the new Labour Codes (Gratuity impact). Profit before exceptional items and tax actually grew 16% YoY in Q3 to ₹1,917.60 million. On a standalone basis, nine-month profit jumped sharply to ₹11,108.72 million, aided by a ₹8,958.87 million dividend received from subsidiary Tenneco Automotive India Private Limited. Statutory auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unmodified limited review report on both sets of results.
Revenue growth is healthy, and core operating profit is expanding, but reported Q3 net profit is flat-to-lower because of the Labour Codes-related exceptional charge—a one-time hit that should not recur. Shareholders should focus on the pre-exceptional PBT growth and the 9M revenue trajectory as better indicators of underlying business health; the dividend from the subsidiary also gives the standalone numbers an outsized boost.
