Tera Software Limited, in consortium with ITI Limited (a government PSU), received an Advance Work Order worth Rs. 1,901 crore from the BharatNet Project for Middle Mile Network in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur (Package No.15). The scope covers design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation and maintenance of the telecom network under BharatNet Phase-3, which aims to deliver digital connectivity to 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats across India. With this win, total orders received from BSNL (in consortium with ITI Ltd) now stand at Rs. 7,005 crore. The order is on a Design Build Operate and Maintain (DBOM) model under the Digital Bharat Nidhi initiative.
This is a very large order relative to Tera Software's size, likely several multiples of its annual revenue, and significantly strengthens its order book visibility. Positive for the stock, though execution and consortium share economics will be key watchpoints.
