Grob Tea Company has approved acquiring 100% of Bazaloni Group Limited, an Assam-based tea producer, for Rs 72.16 crore in cash at Rs 452 per share. Bazaloni runs two tea estates spread over about 1000 hectares with around 3 million kg output and employs over 4000 people. Its FY26 turnover was Rs 52.78 crore and net profit Rs 6.88 crore. After the deal, Bazaloni will become a wholly owned subsidiary, boosting Grob Tea's tea business. The deal is expected to close by 31 July 2026.
