Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
IHCL will sell 1.6 crore shares (25.52 percent) in joint venture Taj GVK Hotels at Rs 370 each to Mrs. Shalini Bhupal, a TajGVK promoter group member, for about Rs 592 crore. TajGVK gave IHCL Rs 29.09 crore share of profit in FY25 (0.30 percent of revenue). IHCL keeps managing TajGVK hotels under existing pacts, but the shareholders agreement and Taj trademark license will terminate on closure, expected within 4-5 trading days.
Partial stake sale in JV brings about Rs 592 crore cash. Marginal earnings impact since TajGVK is only 0.30 percent of revenue. Management fees continue.
