Asset quality improved significantly with Gross NPA dropping from 3.20% to 1.43% and Net NPA falling from 0.92% to 0.29%. Provision Coverage Ratio improved sharply to 94.10%. Gold loan portfolio showed exceptional growth of 45.62%. The Board recommended a 45% dividend.
Strong performance with record profitability and sharp improvement in asset quality should be positive for the stock. The 45% dividend payout signals confidence. However, Net Interest Income declined 1.41% which warrants monitoring.
