South Indian Bank posted standalone Q2 FY27 net profit of Rs 426.13 crore, up 21.3 percent from Rs 351.37 crore in Q2 FY26. Total income rose to Rs 3,263.8 crore from Rs 2,922.8 crore. H1 FY27 net profit was Rs 803.76 crore versus Rs 673.32 crore. Gross NPA improved sharply to 2.36 percent from 4.89 percent YoY, and capital adequacy ratio stood at 19.40 percent. Joint auditors M.P. Chitale and Borkar and Muzumdar issued an unmodified limited review opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Steady profit growth and sharply lower NPAs signal improving asset quality. Unmodified audit opinion supports investor confidence.
