Thomas Scott India has signed a Licensing and Global Designated Supplier Agreement with ABG-Dockers LLC to become the exclusive licensee for the Dockers brand in India, Nepal and Bangladesh. The company will handle product design, manufacturing, distribution, retail and e-commerce. It will also manufacture and supply Dockers products to international partners. Deal runs 5 years extendable by 5 more. Consideration is royalty on net sales plus supply margins. Dockers is owned by Authentic Brands Group, whose portfolio generates over USD 36 billion in annual retail sales across 150 plus countries.
Adds the marquee Dockers brand to the portfolio, expanding premium apparel presence and adding an international B2B manufacturing revenue stream. Positive for long-term growth.
