Timken India reported Q2 FY26 revenue from operations of ₹7,729.87 million, down sequentially from ₹8,088.17 million in Q1 FY26 but up about 2.7% year-on-year from ₹7,528.86 million. Net profit for the quarter stood at ₹894.66 million (EPS ₹11.89), broadly flat versus ₹899.48 million in Q2 FY25. For the first half of FY26, total income rose to ₹16,014.68 million and net profit grew roughly 4% to ₹1,936.90 million. The board re-appointed Mr. Soumitra Hazra as Independent Director for a further 3 years effective May 31, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. Two long-serving General Managers — Gurdeep Grewal (Mobile Sales) and Vijay Pratap Singh (Process Sales) — were formally inducted into the Senior Management cadre. A final dividend of ₹36 per share was paid during the quarter. Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unmodified limited review report.
Earnings were largely flat year-on-year with a sequential dip in revenue, signalling steady but not accelerating operations. The director re-appointment and internal senior management promotions point to continuity and stability, which is reassuring for governance but unlikely to act as a major stock catalyst on its own.
