Titagarh Rail Systems (TRSL) has received a Letter of Acceptance from the Ministry of Railways for designing, manufacturing, supplying, testing and commissioning 62 Rail Borne Maintenance Vehicles (RBMV). The order is valued at Rs 273.24 Crores including GST. This is TRSL's first order under the Safety and Signalling Systems segment from Indian Railways, marking its entry into a new technology-driven rail maintenance segment. Supply must commence within 15 months and all deliveries completed within 48 months.
Positive for shareholders — first order in a new safety and maintenance segment, lifts order book and opens a fresh revenue stream beyond rolling stock.
