Titan Company announced the resignation of three non-executive, non-independent directors effective June 22, 2026. Chairperson Ms. Sandhya Sharma, Mr. Arun Roy, and Ms. Mariam Pallavi Baldev, all IAS officers, stepped down after TIDCO (Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation), a co-promoter of Titan, withdrew their nominations. These directors held board seats by virtue of TIDCO's co-promoter status. The exit is administrative in nature and follows a Tamil Nadu government order.
Co-promoter TIDCO is reshuffling its nominees on Titan's board. Day-to-day operations and management remain unaffected. Watch for new TIDCO nominations.
