JB Chemicals amalgamation with Torrent Pharma becomes effective

Scheme of Amalgamation of JB Chemicals with Torrent Pharmaceuticals became effective on 8th July 2026. NCLT Ahmedabad had approved it on 6th July and certified copy of the order was received on 7th July. Today, certified copies of the Order and Scheme were filed with the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad, making the scheme effective. Appointed Date is 21st January 2026. JB Chemicals now stands amalgamated into Torrent Pharma and dissolved without winding up. Capital clause of Torrent Pharma amended to 46.06 crore equity shares of Rs 5 each and 25 lakh preference shares of Rs 100 each.
